At first I was worried the ankle would be loose but the BOA system secures the shoe tightly around the ankle. The tightening system makes it very convenient for putting the shoe on and taking it off. I bought a size 25.5 based on a size conversion for another pair of shoes I have. These fit perfectly. Please make sure you check with your daily shoe. I have Altra shoes which are US 7.5 and are listed as 25.5cm but Nikes would be size 8. These shoes are listed as US 7. When in doubt, measure your foot.
