Reinforced crankshaft" with X-shaped connecting rod for light weight and high strength
This is the "Reinforced Crankshaft" recommended for vehicles equipped with SP Takegawa's High Power Big Bore Kit.
The X-shaped connecting rod is used to achieve high strength and light weight.
This crankshaft is much stronger than the stock crankshaft and is suitable for high spec engines such as high displacement big bore vehicles and Superhead 4V+R vehicles.
■X-shaped connecting rods
Forging material is machined, and an X-shaped cross section is adopted.
It is lightweight and strong enough, and its buckling stress diffusion and torsional rigidity are greatly improved.

Went in without issue. Revs to 12,000 rpm without failure. Make sure flywheel mating surface is clean and dry without oil before you torque to spec.

I bought this crank to use with the Takegawa 4V+R 181 big bore kit. Its much thicker and more solid than the stock crank. So far its been really good, even at 11500rpm. Highly recommended.
