Excellent

Shinko R006 PODIUM

I bought the cheaper one since there are almost two choices in Size, 140/60R17.
Installation was done by Motorcycle shop.
Tire performance is good in the Dry with no problems. I don't ride in the rain, so I don't know about Wet.
At first I thought the Tread pattern wasn't cool, but once I got used to seeing it, I didn't mind.

Very Good

Apr 22, 2021

It's running normally.

Although the OEM tires of the Gixxer 150 were worn out, I thought that it would be a little boring to replace them with OEM ones again, but when I looked for them, there were not many tires that fit the size, and I found this tire that I did not even know the name of the manufacturer. Because it was said that Shinko bought the motorcycle tire section of Yokohama Rubber, at first I thought that it was Japan, but the tire that arrived had the stamp of Made in Korea. If there is no problem in the performance, it does not matter where it is made, but still, I thought that the domestic product was happier in the heart.
I've driven about 200km on them since they were installed, and they feel a bit fuzzy, but they're pretty normal. I don't know the difference between the tires, but I haven't had any obvious problems such as slippery or air loss. If you know the difference of Tire, there may be some shortcomings, and you don't know the durability until the time passes, but it is probably the cheapest part of Radial that you can wear on Gixxer 150. And if you are a dull rider who enjoy touring slowly like me, the difference from OEM Tire is not so important. Therefore, there is nothing to feel the Minus specially except that it is not made in Japan.
