TYPE-R, that has improved spoke rigidity and rim weight compared to TYPE-C, whose total weight (front and rear) has been successfully reduced by 10% compared to TYPE-C's total weight and rigidity has been improved.
It has been designed to provide better handling than TYPE-C wheels, and is capable of competing with cast and forged magnesium wheels in racing use.
