Ninja400 (2021 model year) The OEMHelmet lock position of the "FOOTPEG" is not good, and the Helmet touches the footpeg. We purchased this product to improve the position of the helmet lock because the helmet shield was scratched all over. The position is now around the base of the Tandem Footpeg and no longer touches the footpeg. The price seems a bit high, but it has become quite convenient, so I am satisfied. By the way, I saw a review that the OEM helmet lock is hard to remove, so I decided to use KIJIMA's helmet lock as well. (Item No. 303-1531) at the same time.View Detail
The infamous (and difficult to use) NINJA 400/200 OEM Helmet lock position was changed to Items for relocating to an easy-to-use position.
Remove OEM Helmet lock from OEM Bracket or To install it on the destination Bracket. You will need a star-shaped Hexagonal Wrench (Torx wrench) T30Size
Also, be careful not to lick it because it is fixed with Screw lock agent! Of course, let's fix it firmly by using the screw lock agent for installation.View Detail
The OEM's uncomplimentary Helmet lock can be relocated to a so-so location. The screw lock is very tight, so be careful not to lick it when you remove the screw for the first time. Moreover, the wrench of the hexagon star type is necessary for removing and installing the Helmet lock.View Detail
Installation was so easy that I didn't need an Instruction Manual!
By far easier to use than the OEM position!
One point, the OEM lock is held in place by a star shaped Screw, so I needed a star shaped hex or something similar. It would have been even better if it was included.View Detail
