■DOHC 4V+D head features The DOHC 4V+D is an auto decompression camshaft version.
Improved intake and exhaust efficiency The four-valve design with two intake valves and two exhaust valves increases the valve curtain area and improves the intake and exhaust efficiency.
Improved combustion efficiency By placing the spark plug in the center, the combustion efficiency has been improved corresponding to the high compression pressure. The spark plug is M8 spark plug. The combustion chamber is a compact pent roof type combustion chamber with the optimum valve pinching angle. In addition, the combustion chamber is fully machined in 3D to minimize the variation of the combustion chamber volume and to reduce the surface area.
Valve Diameter Intake valve diameter 22mm x 2 / Exhaust valve diameter 19mm x 2 The intake port is polished: The intake port of the DOHC head has been polished to increase the power output in the high rpm range. The exhaust port is a straight port: The exhaust port is not in the stock position, but a straight type is adopted to improve exhaust efficiency. Ceramic plated cylinders (SCUT structure patented) Adopts all-aluminum ceramic plated cylinder with excellent durability, airtightness and heat dissipation. The cylinder is equipped with a temperature sensor as standard. You can measure the cylinder temperature by purchasing SP Takegawa's thermometer built-in meter or thermometer. Piston The SCUT138cc uses a cast piston and the piston skirt is coated with molybdenum to ensure good initial acclimation.
Crankshaft Special bearings with a larger inner diameter for the journal bearings of the stroked crankshaft are used to accommodate high power engines.The shaft diameter of the journal section, where the stress of the crankshaft is concentrated, is 22mm to improve strength and durability.In addition, the crankshaft has been given a special surface treatment to further increase durability. Crankcase press-fit bearings are used on the R side.This reduces friction loss and improves the durability and kinematic performance of the crankshaft.
■Camshafts / Crankcases / Transmissions Hollow camshaft (auto decompression mechanism) The camshaft is supported by ball bearings at both ends to reduce frictional resistance in the camshaft journal. The camshaft drivetrain is a semi-gear train and the cam gears are adjustable.Valve timing can be changed. Optional camshafts are available in addition to the included camshafts, allowing you to change the camshafts to suit your application and enjoy the performance of your vehicle. auto decompression mechanism It reduces the kick-start force and the load on the transmission when starting the engine, and allows smooth engine starting even with large displacement engines.
Crankcase SP Takegawa's original reinforced crankcase is a high quality crankcase that is specially designed in every detail to increase the rigidity of the crankcase to cope with the load on the crankcase caused by the larger engine displacement. The oil pump is a crankshaft direct drive oil pump.Compared with the chain drive type reinforced oil pump, the discharge volume is about twice as large. In order to reduce the internal pressure of the crank case of the large displacement engine, the inner diameter of the breather pipe is 6mm instead of the stock 4mm. The crankcase body is equipped with an oil jet mechanism that constantly sprays oil directly onto the small end of the connecting rod and the backside of the piston for lubrication and cooling. The transmission bearing is equipped with a special bearing hold plate for big torque.
The primary type kick starter allows the engine to be started by disengaging the clutch in any gear, and is recommended for racing use where a quick engine start is required when restarting.In the case of a primary kick, the engine can be started without direct stress on the transmission.

■Clutch and other accessory parts The reinforced clutch uses 5 discs to eliminate clutch slippage that occurs in high power engines.
Primary Kickstarter System Wet special clutch only, magnesium die-cast cover. The surface of the magnesium clutch cover is painted brown. The clutch cover used for the wet clutch is a patented clutch cover that allows for the installation of a thermostat. Overcooling can be prevented by installing a thermostat unit (sold separately). Furthermore, an oil outlet is provided to allow oil to be taken out to the oil cooler. The standard specification of the primary type is a slipper clutch. The slipper clutch reduces the shock of sudden engine braking when downshifting at high RPM.
Exclusive manifold included Smooth intake from the carburetor to the intake port.
Super Street Outer Rotor It is capable of stable high power output for both street and racing use, while maintaining the same brightness of lights as stock for street driving and a charge level that compensates for the power consumed while riding. The SP Takegawa rotor body uses a medium size flywheel that is approximately 50% lighter than the standard flywheel, reducing the load on the crankshaft while providing "ease of riding and necessary power generation". Furthermore, the pickup positions have been reviewed and the optimum ignition timing has been set for various big bore kits to achieve high power output and response that cannot be obtained with the stock rotors.
SP Takegawa original aluminum die-cast generator cover Separate type drive sprocket covers are used, and the sprockets can be replaced by removing only the sprocket covers without removing the generator cover.
Hyper C. D. I. Ignition characteristics suitable for SP Takegawa engine parts are adopted.
